Most clubs will need to pay their players on contract whether they play or not. A short break is feasible but to prolong that with no income to the clubs will put the whole game in jeopardy. I ca see any break running for several months, so perhaps we have winter rugby again with the Grand Final on ...

Sadly there are not many postings asking Shaun Edwards to reconsider his position and commit to his Wigan agreement, all the postings seeking to blame one or the other.

IL probably fed up with the calibre of players Wane has asked for and brought in over the last twelve months given recent results. Now hopefully seeking to redress the situation by getting rid of some dead wood and seeking a new manager with better experience and ideas.
