Re: Bateman back

Looks like he had better offers but none could match seeing his daughter.
He will be on good money no doubt but surely this last few months has shown us money is not everything.
Great to see him back.

Re: Message from IL

I have been off work through most of this (dental) . My wife working from home(banking) son also off( college and lifeguard) daughter (school) We have four season tickets. I'm lucky enough to be able to let the club have the season ticket. I understand not everyone's in the same position. We also al...

Re: Underrated/Left-Field Wigan Teams

1. Joe Lydon
2. Amos Roberts
3. Sam Panapa
4. B J Mather
5. D Myers
6. Julian O'Neil
7. Phil Blake
8. Les Davidson
9. McCormack
10. Glynn Shaw
11. Ian Roberts
12. Mick Cassidy
13. Ian Potter

Not many of these seem to get picked in all time teams but would give a decent team a run out.

Re: Brett Kenny

Kenny was the best 6 I have seen at Wigan. That team he played in was not as dominant as the one Ella played in. Ella was very good also but that team under performed. For me Ella was a running standoff Kenny did it all. Ella won Lancs cup and JPT he played 20 games for us. Sure he was injured quite...

Re: Wells and Kilner?

I like Wells who's been so unlucky with injury. It can't be easy coming on in a well beaten team and trying to impress. Kilner looks another no nonsense forward with natural size and aggression.

Re: Partington grade D charge

Both deserve what they got. I don't like players going in so hard into a player who's stood but pretty much held with that lack of control. Flowers was against the knee joint in it's natural bend but no need for the speed if it. Partington was against the knee in a way it does not want to bend, the ...

Re: Sam Powell

I think it's all a balance in the modern game especially with in effect a lot less cap space. An Example Saints have had Roby who I would say has been the best hooker by some distance. That though has not made them successful. Last season with Roby not at the same level they did win. I don't think t...

Re: Where I want to be: Havard

Need to get the lad on a longer deal. Hits hard in D big and athletic. Along with Byrne, Bullock and Burgess gives us real size0, Kilner and Wells also fit that mode.

Re: Sam Powell

For me this season and last was the start of a major squad change. I would not be surprised to see Tommy Lockers Clubb fFower leave at years end. Along with Greenwood Escarre and Romain question mark's still hang over Hastings and I imagine Gildart. Fringe players like Jake Shorrocks may also be on ...
