I think you've missed the point CP!

IMO Ashton would be the current GB Fullback if he had stayed with Wigan and we would have avoided the embarrassment of having Mathers (and Withers to a lesser extent) in our team.

A class player - which we and the rest of Superleague have missed!

We are already wasting enough of the salary cap on unfit or past it players - so if his physical condition is as poor as this rumour thread suggests i'd get rid of him.

Still think we are overdue an update from the club on this matter.

Personally I hope the club look after him and he gets to play for us again.
