Re: Squad v Wakefield

It was on Ethan Havard & how the ref or the touch judge missed it is beyond me. But I thought it was number 11 who was the culprit. Maybe i need to go to spec savers too 😉

Dirty cheap play & fatfita is as bad as Chester, does nothing but moan!

Re: Squad v Wakefield

Only my second live game this season :D. Overall, I think it was the shot of confidence both fans and players need......especially for Wire. Excellent play by Jacko tonight, looked like Sam T tonight playing from 1. Mitch Clark is definitely worthy of a place in the 17 and I'd like to see O'Neil st...

Re: In contrast to the withdrawal of Oz & NZ - The Indomitables

Australia and New Zealand’s decision to withdraw from this year’s World Cup is best summed up by George Orwell’s book ‘1984’. “All animals are equal - but some are more equal than others”. There couldn’t be a more apt phrase for what has unfolded in the last 48 hours. Good write up Jamie, but get y...

Re: In contrast to the withdrawal of Oz & NZ - The Indomitables

I think we just need a bit more clarity and precision here. If we are going to blame "the Aussies", who do we actually mean by that? Presumably not the players, most of whom seem to want to come. We are all annoyed and frustrated, but stoking generalised anti-Australian prejudice with ref...

Re: Kyle Flanaghan.

Update on Super League target’s future Kyle Flanagan will not be moving to the UK, according to Canterbury boss Trent Barrett, news.com.au has reported. Flanagan arrived at the Bulldogs as a million-dollar marquee signing, but that has since gone awry with the halfback dropped from the team on a nu...

Re: In contrast to the withdrawal of Oz & NZ - The Indomitables

Sorry it’s such a long post but I thought it was in keeping, & a very good read, with the current debate with the NRL clubs & how, when the Australians came & asked, or maybe begged, for GB RL to help the Aussies & reignite InternationalRugby League Tours after the Second World War. ...
