I didn't explain that very well, its being done on a points system rather like the man of steel, so if your team hasn't played a lot of games eg Catalan 13, it will be difficult to accrue enough points. As someone else said, those players should be exempt from the salary cap for the duration of their original contracts, they are very unlikely to get a deal now, most clubs have finalised their squads for next year, well except Leigh who are reverting to type And signing loads of players
