Re: Wigan vs Penrith

Finally able to look at the incidents at home today :) I'm brassed off with this "biased" reffing tack we are seeing..... General pens/6 agains for holding etc were about even. Penrith 1st try, there was a case for Miski being taken out - surely a bias ref would have sent that to the scre...

Re: Video Refs

Fully agree, the VR system in RL is one of the few things we've got right. hearing the thought processes of the video ref shows the protocols work, they start every decision with "the on field decision was" and "its from a kick so we start with onside/offisde" the VR controls the...

Re: Smithies to canberra

All the comments about what the club can or cant afford now remind me of the old joke

Re: Paul Wellens accuses RFL of failing to protect players as St Helens suffer four injuries involving same player

I actually agree with him (I feel dirty for admitting it) but the first one on walmsley wasn’t even a tackle, he just threw himself at his legs to trip him up, the passi one was very nearly a cannonball, but in both cases the tackler was not in control of the tackle.

Re: HullKR v Wigan CC match thread

Fair play to Hull KR, we we’re beaten fair and square, we didn’t help ourselves with the shorrocks red, but I don’t think it would have made much difference, we know the short falls in the team, the pack isn’t a wet weather pack and we're short of a stand off and a hooker. But in many ways it’s good...

Watching Huddersfield tonight, Ian Watson must be getting nervous, they’re very very poor

Darryl Powell must also be wondering how patient Warrington will be too

It looks like the Danson rumour came from a comment by Paul Kendrick that has been requoted in an article on a site called theathletic that sits behind a paywall, but can be read on latics speyk But the winding up order does raise a question, If Danson is looking to buy it, why do it now? He can get...

Re: Wakefield Trinity 24 Leeds Rhinos 14: Hosts end 286-day wait for precious win thanks to heroic display

Sorry, but how do you get Myler is a fault? he doesn't move, he stands his ground, attempts to tackle the player, who looses the ball, drives in with his head down then picks Myler up and and drops him on his head. And the comment its not a proper spear tackle because he got straight up is just appa...
