Re: Wigan squad for Warrington (R19)
The bench should be made up of 2 props, Walters and Leeming IMO. It’s been too prop heavy in recent weeks, with guys like Mago and Byrne having little chance to get any sort of rhythm going. Walters can cover second row or prop so it gives you the perfect balance.

Re: Warriors Women beat Valkyrie
It’s really pleasing to see them building and making improvements. That gap is closing between Wigan and those big 3 clubs and hopefully they’ll take over given time. The good thing from a Wigan POV, is that unlike the other clubs, they’ll at least be able to say they did it via hard work and growin...

Re: Wigan squad for Hull FC (R18)
Why is smith kicking cost us the game He's turning in to Williams, too kick happy, what's wrong with passing the ball 🤬 It started last week, which seems to indicate that he’s lacking in faith that Eckersley and Farrimond can bring the attacking threat Field/French can but the two young lads (espec...

Re: Tyler Dupree set for career milestone as Wigan boss hails prop: ‘I can’t say enough positives about him’
He’s been an excellent signing and it feels like there’s more to come. I’d say Dupree along with every other prop at Wigan can look towards Luke Thompson for inspiration when it comes to playing at full throttle every single week. Lads like Dupree, Byrne, Havard, Hill etc are all much younger and it...

Re: Welsby
I’ve no issue with it because it just makes it more enjoyable when the fans can give him some back (although I’d bin the pathetic song being sang about him by some). Also, I wouldn’t have expected Amor to say anything. The guy literally went wild when the break was made for the try and was still on ...

Re: Junior Nsemba injury
I was out watching the football on Sunday and a lad noticed the Wigan screensaver on my phone and mentioned Nsemba being out for 8 weeks. It was the first I’d heard and I hadn’t seen anything until this thread about it. He looked fine on those social media pictures this morning, throwing weights aro...

Re: Liam Byrne
I think the crackdown on head contact, combined with Byrnes tackling technique is making this a tricky time for him. Forget the Percival tackle, that can happen and generally I think he’s been running the ball ok recently but everything looks a bit ‘safe’ defensively and that’s understandable after ...

Re: DISCIPLINARY
I don’t know why we never appeal! It was repeated what the VR said to the ref when he questioned about the head collision with Havard & you heard the ref say accidental head knock, so why has he got fined? Is this money part of the kitty for them to have a jolly somewhere perhaps?? We need to s...

Re: DISCIPLINARY
The Savelio one is mystifying! If I were Peet I’d want a meeting with somebody to explain how that is 2 games, when Keighran got 3 and Byrne 4 for challenges that didn’t look as bad. In terms of Keighrans ban, he needs a word from somebody. That lifting technique is causing him problems and he’s not...

Re: How good is this team?
I don’t remember a time in the Super League era where I’ve sat thinking about our side and I’m struggling to think how we can realistically improve it (given salary cap constraints and the increased strength of the NRL) but that’s how I feel now. We have a fantastic backline, a great pack and loads ...
