Re: Wigan Warriors rising forward Harvey Makin returns from London Broncos loan spell
Wonder if it’s a nod to us resting a number of players at Warrington next week? I hope not. Walters, Ellis and Byrne need to play and we need to put a marker down. I’d play those 3 without a doubt. I had a look back to the week before the 2022 final and we only rested a couple of players, so we may...

Re: Havard: In a good place
He’s going well with plenty more to come yet. He’s some specimen the lad. If you could build a prop forward he’d be pretty much ideal for what you’d want (maybe bar the hamstrings).

Re: Challenge Cup Final Tickets
I’ve been in safe standing a few times at Old Trafford. You do have a seat but it’s called a rail seat, which basically just means there are barriers on each row and the seat is a bit higher but it’s designed for people who want to stand to watch the game. I’d say from my experience of rugby fans at...

Re: Wigan squad for Hull KR (Semi-Final)
The best part about this performance for me is how I'm sure we were at most in 3rd gear. It felt comfortable all game and we never really set the world alight. We didn't see French and Field really run at them. We ground them down, we actually seemed to gift them field position at times. We still s...

Re: Wigan squad for Hull KR (Semi-Final)
Excellent - now to book our tickets. Can't recall a better forward performance than Thompson today. A delight to see him bulldozing through HKR, He was my MOM but can't quibble with Harry. For years we’ve looked on at props at other clubs feeling a bit jealous but those days have ended now. In Thom...

Re: Wigan squad for Hull KR (Semi-Final)
1- 7 picks itself Havard O'Neill Thompson Faz Junior Ellis Dupree Hill Mago Leeming semi final isnt the game to put Walters in (unless he's had lots of time training with the 1st team) and i think i'd personally go Hill over Cooper on basis he's faster / more mobile and hasnt taken a backwards step...

Re: Liam Byrne receives suspension ahead of Challenge Cup semi-final showdown
For one reason and another Byrne hasn’t got going this year but people only need to look back to that spell around Catalans away last year to see what he can do. He may find himself on the sidelines for a bit longer than these 2 games now if things go well and that might not be a bad thing. His conf...

Re: Cooper & Isa
It makes sense that those guys are likely to either retire or move on. They’ve had great careers and certainly in Isa’s case, he’s been an absolute gem for us in so many ways but the new guard need the games and they’ll need the cap space to keep them. A lad like Harvie Hill in particular needs to b...
