Re: Disciplinary

Is it worth considering a new category of offence on the lines that when an act, deemed to be malicious, results in the victim missing matches, the offending player is suspended until the injured player is certified medically fit to resume?

Prescot

When we are given injury updates, quite often there is no mention of Prescot which must be pretty hurtful to the player.

Or does it mean that he has no future at the club?

Farrell as a centre????

<t>Seeing the way that Joel is growing into the centre position prompts me to wonder if Liam might also have the potential to share in a devastating centre partnership for many seasons to come.<br/> <br/> If he has he the basic speed I think he certainly has the Rugby brain to make it worth consider...

SAUCE FOR THE GOOSE.

<t>For app. 100 years, Rugby League clubs have been seducing the finest RU players with money, amongst a myriad of others, Jim Sullivan, Billy Boston and Tuigamalla (pardon the spelling), from Wigan alone.<br/> <br/> For app.10 years, the situation has been largely reversed attracting howls of compl...

Re: Stupid penalties cost us that game

<t>1. We missed Ricahrds like hell.<br/> <br/> 2. We lacked a playmaker after Deacon went off.<br/> <br/> 3. After appearing to give a harsh decision against Wellens (may have seen the screen) Silverwood seemed hellbent on making it up to Scouse and he did this very successfully, albeit with a bit o...

Re: Norman Cherrington RIP

<t>Delighted that I am not the only one to remember Norman Cherrington flooring the great Vinty.<br/> <br/> As a result, I think Cherrington was possibly the only player Karalius gave a wide berth to in his entire career.<br/> <br/> With his all-round skill, speed and iron hardness, he was in my opi...

Re: Wigan 16 Warrington 23

With our kicking game leaving a lot to be desired why not introduce Deacon earlier?

Put another way, why have him on the bench and give him less game time than Feka?

Re: Coley sending off

<t>On its individual merit, difficult to argue it did not deserve a red but have seen as bad, if not worse, treated much more leniently.<br/> <br/> If this is a precedent (as opposed to "on report") and now to be the morm for this offence then there should be many more similar sending-offs before th...

Re: Colin Tyrer

I seem to remember a period that Colin Tyrer was the league's leading goal kicker and leading try scorer and was roundly booed by sections of Wigan "fans" almost every time he touched the ball.
