Re: Walters on the bench
If the future starting second row is to be Walters and Nsemba, what side do you think they'd play? Am I right in thinking they are both predominantly right sided players? Not that it's impossible to switch / retrain to the other side if that's the way forward. I'm not too familiar with where Nsemba ...

Re: Wigan squad for Hull KR (R9)
Thanks, Exiled Wiganer. I agree with it being a tough place to go and I hope you're right about being at it from the first minute!

Re: Wigan squad for Hull KR (R9)
I'm not sure if this will be the match thread for tonight but, how does everyone see it going or what are you hoping to see differently from the Cas match last week?

Re: Smiths kicking
Good question! Funny you should mention this. It came up in conversation last night with my dad. I feel like it's a tactic, mostly because there's not that much deviation from what he's doing. If he were that bad, I think you'd see more errand kicks. I think after the Penrith match he said something...

Re: Thoughts on Head Contact
Two rounds in and all the talk is about how the game is being refereed and not what great games we have just seen. I despair. This happens every season. The despair, the ignominy, woe, woe! However, the refereeing gradually gets more reasonable and consistent - the refs are applying these criteria ...

Re: Thoughts on Head Contact
The mouth guard data can do no more than give us a baseline as to what forces are exerted under current rules. They can’t tell us anything about the past, nor how impactful or significant these forces may be in relation to future health. It’s good to have data, but it needs handling very carefully....

Re: Thoughts on Head Contact
Thanks, WarriorWinger. I thought someone referenced it but I couldn't be sure if it was something I read about Union, from watching the first round of Super League or the NRL pre-season!

Re: Thoughts on Head Contact
I found this article from a week or so ago that suggests the smart mouth guards will be used in league so perhaps we'll get more of a real-time idea of how the technology develops rather than seeing what happens in other sports. Is it okay to share a link without copy and pasting the entire article ...
