Re: Our kicking game

<t>I wasn't aware we had a kicking game. We could certainly do with one. Perhaps now Finch is going we'll find someone who knows how to miss thee full back and doesn't put grubbers into the oppositions hands. With Deacon on the coaching staff we could do with a bit more of his influence methinks.[/u...

Re: Rotten Wigan.

<t>The sad thing to me is that we have jeopardised our position in the league earlier in the season by losing to a Widnes side who eveerybody was beating up for fun and a Bradford side whom we should never have lost to. Wire completely outplayed us and deserved to win but it should not have mattered...

Re: Wigan draw SAINTS home cup Quarter Final

<t>Looks like we will once again have to pander to the needs of the media and sod the rules of the competition. I know the media pump money into the league but it's about time somebody took a stand and told them to televise a match from the veenue it's supposed to be at instead of all this fiddling ...

Re: Wigan draw SAINTS home cup Quarter Final

<r>According to sporting life they are thinking about Widnes' Stobart stadium aka another home tie for Saints! <br/> <br/> BTW I hope we are all going to be Catalan Dragon fans for a day when they play Wire after the way Warrington fans and their club shop treated us back in 2007. Think I will give ...

Re: Brian Carney!!

A lot of the commentary team seemed to only be interested in Featherstone. Certainly they played well as I expected but there were certainly some questionable decisions made, and by and large I thought in Fev's favour and some of the comments made were almost laughable.

<r><QUOTE author="Kiwiseddon"><s>
</s>I'd like to see us rest some players for the Featherstone game and nil them. Re: How the hell can this be fair ?

There is no point putting players on report as it doesn't penalise the offending team at the time of the incident. Indeed it usually proves beneficial to subsequent opposition teams if an offence is cconfirmed and that may well be to the detriment of the team offended against.

<r><QUOTE author="TedMac"><s>
</s>Fact remains though - we threw away a game we could and should have easily won. Re: Widnes v Wigan

<t>I have neveer been a fan of this aussie inspired competition format. As far as I am concerned the team that finishes top at the end of the season is the one that deserves the accolades. Wane obviously believes it doesn't matter as long as we finish in the top 8 and go on to the 'grand final'. How...

Re: Tomkins to play for Barbarians?

<t>Well done Sam. I can't believe anybody watches this crap on a regular basis ,what a woeful advert for yawnion. i suspect most of us only watched 'cos Sam was playing. Fortunately he escaped unscathed and hopefully learned enough to put him off union for life. Why we would want to risk a player of...
