Re: Pongia to wigan?

<t>Do have a few contacts within S.L. clubs but sadly non at Wigan yet! It just seemed like the most common sence option to me and i think this signing could be a major boost to our Super League aspirations. We now have 4 props who can mix it at the top level and who wont be intimidated by the likes...

Re: Re: Centre merry-go-round

<t>At the moment i think that we are considerably under the cap with the bulk of our team being made up of youngsters who have developed through the ranks and now that Ainscough has gone are even more so. At the end of the year Dallas and Lam come off contract so there are another 2 big earners gone...

<t>This is the reason i was saying that we should have signed Keith Mason before saints managed to get there hands on him. I think that this signing is only being viewed by the club as a similar situation to that of Graham. He will come over for the rest of the season then probably return to France ...

Re: Re: Hughes

<t>I must agree i think he would be a very useful aquisition to the squad i have stated on other threads i beleive he could cover the positions played by both Johnson and Hodgson, and we would only have to supply 1 wage leaving us to strengthen in other areas. He does score a lot of tries made by hi...

Centre merry-go-round

<t>I think now that with Saints announcing the capture of Talau, we are 99% certain to sign Vagana and Bradford will sign Love. Think that the Love Hape centre partnership will be the most destructive but the Vagana hopefully Aspinwall combo will prove the most effective overall as both seem excelle...

Ainscough

<t>Bad look to the lad not that i think his inconsistancy will be too sorely missed but its no way to finish a good carrer. Wish him all the best in the future and who knows we may see him on the paddock again next year all be it with another club. Cant say i was his biggest fan but he did have some...

Think Carney must be good for a wing spot i know he is not from Lancashire but Bom Peters played and if it is indeed a G.B. trial must get a go.

Re: Re: Bibey for GB

Bibey was the water boy and i think that the point being made is that he is only good enough to be water boy not that i entierly agree with his sentiments but i understand the point being made.

Re: Re: We need Joey

<t>i would absolutly 100% agree that Johns is far and away the best player in the world i also think that he is made to look even better by the players who run such fantastic angles off the ball for him on more or less every play. In S.L. this usually only happens on the 3rd or 4th tackle. This i th...

Re: Re: Team for next year?

<t>On the contrary i think it would allow for the like of Wilde O'Loghlain Bibey, and maybe a matter of 2 other good tried and tested squad players as cover as i really cant see this 17 getting too close to the sallary cap but i did ask if you thought it was viable and i do appreciate that S.L. is n...
