Re: Referee for Mondays CC game
<t>Expect the Video Ref to be constantly in action when Wigan score but ignored when the opposition score. Bizarre interpretation of rules and decisions that neither team understand and at least one of Wigan to be sinbinned for asking for clarification of lunatic decisions.<br/> <br/> I hope we win ...

Re: Powell or Asotasi
As Asotasi has signed for Warrington for next season, it's even less than academic. Better do a poll on how few games Powell will wind up playing before he rides his golf buggy into the sunset.

<t>Only listened to the radio (Mr. Reardon = local radio at its finest) so can't make comments about the team. <br/> The one thing that puzzled me was the statement on the radio that Sam Powell started at Stand-off. Was that right? If so, what's the matter with George Williams?<br/> Certainly at Lon...

Re: A moral victory?
<t>Never happy about the phrase "moral victory" - it just means you've lost but have found some handy excuses.<br/> <br/> A full-strength side would undoubtedly have won last night.<br/> <br/> Nice to see that obstruction seems to be legal now and that Westwood has special dispensation to hold down ...

Re: Gelling
<t>I've been really rude about him but I thought he was excellent last night - particularly in defence.<br/> <br/> Only problem (and I appreciate he's still learning the role) is his positioning. He's so close to Pat that Pat hardly got a pass last night.<br/> <br/> A really good effort and even tho...

Injuries & Sam & Chase
<t>Sorry if I've missed this elsewhere but when the rumours started about Paul Wood coming on loan (Please NO!) there was talk about H being injured. Any truth in that?<br/> <br/> Also, yesterday, The Guardian in their piece about Steve MacNamara heading off to OZ to watch expats play, Sam was said ...

Re: Widnes v Wigan
What was really great to see was the non-playing players cheering and getting excited when watching tries being scored.
I think it's called team spirit and it looks as if we have it in abundance.
