Re: Wigan vs Warrington

Well, when he's played there, he tackles properly and is decent at ball-clamping, which is something that needs to improve all round the team. Considering his lack of experience at SL level, I'd put him above Isa in terms of raw ability and he is a better ball-handler and tends to give away fewer pe...

Re: Wigan vs Warrington

I'm not too worried about Sarge moving. Wigan's greatest strength in the past has been consistency and he doesn't really have that. I don't know enough about Bibby because when I've seen him, he rarely stands out. Now that might be because Salford don't play to his strengths or that I've been unluck...

I think with Smithies, we have finally found the replacement for SOL.

Re: Wigan vs Warrington

Hugely impressive to keep Warrington scoreless for 70-odd minutes. Didn't see anyone have a bad game and fair play to Ben Thaler and his lino - they got virtually everything right and spotted a couple of dropped balls in the act of try-scoring that most people didn't see. The only major error was Ol...

Re: Site outage

Appreciate the hard work. This site is as important as the club for us in the legion of the lost (that's the South of England.)

Great to have you back.

Re: Boost for Wigan Warriors as FIVE players return from injury

Has greenwood ever played prop? His size could be useful and i dont see how you can realistically move faz from the left with how hes been playing. This game is important alot of teams on the same points and losing could see us pushed out of playoff spots. Yet another suggestion to move a player fr...

Re: Wigan vs Wakefield

Blimey! Cheerfully admit I didn't see this one coming. The things that pleased me the most (apart from Faz - Gildart's try etc.etc.) were Sammut's tactical kicking (mostly) and the fact that for the first time in living memory, we harassed their kicker on the last tackle. Makes all the difference wh...

Re: Referee for Thursday

The real point is to look at why it is only some referees who seem to be perpetually engaged in verbal battles with players. All players let off steam and they all think every decision for them is correct and every one against is wrong - it's called human nature. Good referees make fewer mistakes an...

Re: Referee for Thursday

Welcome back to the wonderful world of television and referees who are greatly inferior to the ones we've seen recently.
Don't the people who run SL realise how p****d off ordinary fans get with this allocation of officials?

The only player i know the less he plays the better he gets.
Apparently not, according to this week's squad.
