Re: Cats v Wigan
Not a whole lot of point banging on about how bad we were - it was obvious to everyone. Interesting how Cats never considered attacking us down the left - shows how bad our right side was but proof that we can do some things right. Cats attacked us like Leeds in the league fixture and we couldn't co...

Re: Mago... turned a corner?
Turned a corner? Still into a cul-de-sac. Definitely better in the last couple of games but time on the pitch isn't enough and he doesn't have any staying power if he comes back for a second bite. He started as a compulsive offloader which was basically disastrous and now he never offloads at all. H...

Re: Sky coverage
I listened to Joe Mills & Bilko for the match commentary with the TV coverage on mute - absolutely the best way! I think the club should apologise to JJB for having the temerity to win the match, thus ruining all his predictions and their highlights reel seemed to suggest that HKR must have won....

Re: Hooker
Hookers like Parcell (also Dwyer/Clark etc.) relish playing against Powell. They know at regular intervals he is likely to be caught on the wrong side of the PTB and leave a hole or just lose concentration and they can run right through it. It's been happening for years and it doesn't seem likely to...

Re: Miski
Had a terrible debut but has proved the doubters (that means me, mostly) wrong. A really strong player for us and I'd like to see him stay with us for a good few years. Those runs out of defence are priceless.

Re: Wigan squad for Hull KR
Thought we'd struggle last night - was furious when it looked as if we'd thrown the game away and was relieved when we squeaked (well, strode really) home at the end. HKR are a wholly different side now and if Matty Peet ever moves on, Willy Peters should be under consideration as a coach. HKR, as a...

Re: Wigan Vs Leeds CC
Delighted with the win but it's not easy watching us this season. Nearly as nervous as the team were when throwing forward passes in the first half. Not going to ignite the Powell question but noticeable how Cameron Smith's influence declined when O'Neill came on as hooker. Also, Powell seems to hav...

Re: Faz
All I can really say is that I've worked in shops, offices and factories and played team sports for most of my life and all of my colleagues and team-mates have found it pretty easy to spot the difference between activity and action on an off the field and their relative usefulness..

Re: Wigan squad for Challenge Cup R6
Isa did a hamstring. Best line of the year is Bentley having a problem with his head! I hope that we can come up with a plan and stick to it. The last match against Leeds had the air of trying various scenarios and seeing if one of them worked - to which we all know the answer. The Cup is really imp...
