Re: Team v Cas

Not a criticism of a young Wembley try-scorer but he does need to work on his defense . A tendency to jump out of the line is a problem for him. I'm assuming that the coaches will work on that as the season progresses. This has been selected as "The Moment of the Match" https://x.com/wiga...

Re: Super League Disciplinary: Why Challenge Cup stars avoided bans

Without labouring the point, it was obvious at the match that Kendall intended to play on but had to stop when he received a message from the Video ref. That was bad enough but he then moved away and got another message from Moore which led to the yellow card. The Dufty one was different. Kendall bl...

Re: Two SL clubs named in race for West Tigers forward John Bateman

Judging by yesterday, a Bateman at even near his best would improve Warrington. Mind you, that best seems a long way in the past.

Re: Penalty Try comment

Obviously I didn't hear Kendall's comment but said to Mrs SS at the time that if it wasn't a try - it had to be a penalty try. It might be time to change the Laws so that even if the try is given - the kick should be in front of the posts if a penalty try would otherwise have been the outcome. It mi...

Re: Challenge Cup Winners 2024!

Well. as leader of the Sussex Warriors (Provisionals), I was delighted at the team's performance. Matty will say that our defence won the match and he was right. What it did was to reduce Warrington to increasingly desperate measures. (Special mention to Sam Powell for some Olympic whingeing when he...

Re: "Abide With Me", a Wembley tradition.

Sorry, as an atheist I don't sing this at Wembley same as gstk Phew! Glad it's not just us. We don't make a fuss when either things are sung but we'll be joining you in dissenting - and just to make it even more cheerful - we're both republicans but we'll be the happiest people when we win on Satur...

Re: Referee for Wembley

Although Liam Moore has matured this season, Kendall still looks the best of the bunch.
One for the future might just be Liam Rush who kept a lid on a potentially tricky match on Sunday - Salford v London. Not afraid to call decisions on the pitch like offside.

Re: Wigan Warriors duo banned for Challenge Cup Final after landing charges

I hate stupid conspiracy theories so will only say that George Williams' convenient one-match ban last week and our three-match bans this time seem to be emitting a curious odour. I'm assuming we go: Field Miski Nsemba Wardle Marshall French Smith Cooper O'Neill Thompson Walters Farrell Ellis Bench ...

Re: Matt Peet issues apology to Adam Keighran with Wigan Warriors to consider appeal

I am assuming that RFL_Discipline twitter account is a wind-up because it claims that both Adam and Tyler have £250 fines only.
