Re: London v Wigan

Just got back from a great couple of days in London, I thought that we played really well, I know there wasn't much opposition, but as the old saying goes you can only play what's in front of you. Sam's try was worth the entrance fee alone, pure magic. :eusa2:

Re: CC draw - for the consipicary theorists out there

<r><QUOTE author="ddtftf"><s>[quote=ddtftf]</s> I do not mind when the draw is, the BBC will probably only show 1 match as they did last time, look to see if there is table tennis or ice hockey to give a an idea how many matches will be shown. Its bloody disgusting how the BBC treat us, and we will ...

Re: Good Riddance to them lot

<t>Whelley Warrior, of course Dave Whelan probably wouldn't have got control, but the fact remains he had the wherewithal and the nous to do it, it's called business. It's the reason he is a millionaire and we aren't. Whatever he did and why, the fact remains both Springfield Park and Central Park w...

Re: Good Riddance to them lot

<t>Just to let you know Whelley Warrior, I'm not a bandwagon jumper, I watched the Latics when they were in the Northern Prem, I was at Wembley when they lost to Scarborough in 1973. So I will continue to support them and Wigan Warriors, irrespective of which league they are in. <br/> <br/> And what...

Re: Good Luck Latics!

Yes, hopefully Latics will be challenging for promotion next season, instead of avoiding relegation, should make for some good matches. I for one hope they come straight back up. I think it is good for the town to have two good clubs in it. :look:

Re: Good Luck Latics!

<t>Whelley Warrior, the thread happens to be called Good Luck Latics, if you wish to moan I suggest you start a thread called Bah Humbug Latics. Incidentally, of all my posts on this site I have only commented on Latics about 4 times, I'm proud to support both teams and make no apologies for this. S...

Re: Good Luck Latics!

Quite right Josie, we should be happy a Wigan club has won a major trophy, not whinging about a sign. It brings a feel good factor to the town, we should be publicising our achievements not whining on about money. I for one will be wishing them good luck tonight against Arsenal. :eusa3:

Re: Hull KR v Wigan

<t>Yes just seen the hit on Green on Wigan TV, shocking, didn't see it properly on the ground. But once again other teams will get the benefit of any ban, and we could lose another player for the next few games. Of the game itself I thought we had a few hairy moments in the first half, but once we s...
