Re: Salford RL

Was at the AJ Bell last night for Sale. Hard to believe but since the new road has gone in its even worse for parking and getting to than it used to be! Salford will be well rid of the place, one of the worst designed stadiums in the country. There were people who joined a food queue before kick off...

Re: Edwards Again

Edwards used us as a bargaining chip to get a better deal in Rugby Union. End of. Was Lenegan naive to allow that to happen? Absolutely! Were the warning signs there from the start and IL completely ignored them at the prospect of the PR coup of bringing back a RL legend from the upper reaches of U...

Re: Warrington

Having stood at the HJ listening to 80 minutes of their lot singing the highly original "Wigan get battered" song along with that other odd song about going to see the Pope (which I've never really understood) I'd be lying if I didn't say I enjoyed watching them lose this one. I wouldn't g...

Re: Wigan squad for Leeds

So the season ended in appropriate fashion for me. Getting nilled having offered absolutely nothing in attack. Personally I felt he should have put out the same side as last week. The young lads who got the nod last week really stepped up and showed a bit of pride in the jersey. Some more establishe...

Re: Attendance for Thursday playoff game

The first round of the playoffs is traditionally not very well attended. Couple this with the fact its on a Thursday, I'd say we've done very well if we crack 10000. Personally I don't think we'll get anywhere near it sadly.

Re: Wigan Warriors' Joe Shorrocks finishes top of Super League tackle chart

The emergence of Shorrocks has been one of the bright points of this season. I really hope he kicks on next season. He feels like the sort of player who would be an absolute horror show to tackle. Impossible to put him down without taking a stray knee or elbow similar to Gareth Hock. Partington and ...

Re: Agar disappointed with short turnaround

He's got a point, Yet to speak to a fan who is a fan of playing on a Thursday night but thats where we are. At least on this occasion the turnaround time is exactly the same for both sides so whilst its not ideal at least its fair.

Re: Wigan squad for Catalans.

I do love that these threads are about 10 pages shorter when we win than when we get beat!! It might have been a dead rubber but last night was the best performance we've seen all season at the DW. After a season of doom and gloom, I left last night smiling. It might have been to all intents and pur...

Re: Recruitment

I don't suppose the money available will include Zac's salary. With him now living in Pontefract and commuting to Wigan I can't see that lasting long term. He will see the season out with us but it seems highly probable he'll be playing for someone else next year. Pity really as he's a good quality...
