Re: John Bateman

Hopefully that's all true. I do note we've not had a denial from the club saying they've not spoken to him. £350k a year is a lot off the balance sheet but we've a lot of salary leaving the playing roster. The players who may leave to me are Lockers, TL (maybe) Gildart, Escare, Navarette, Flower. Ba...

Re: Superleague fixture plans

I prefer model two. More games with later dates but not going into 2021.
We don't know how all this will go and with later dates it might just give us that extra time we need to get the game up and running.

That's a box office signing if ever there was one.
Hope it works out well for Inglis and Wire.
An in form Inglis will certainly make the turnstiles click at every ground in the league.

Re: Salary Cap

They are banging on about maintaining the integrity of the competition by lowering the SC.
Some of us believe that the comps integrity ceased the moment they introduced the SC.

Re: Wigan Hall of Fame

Billy was quite fast for a big man but had very good foot work and side step. He could side step his way round a player as well as run right over him. Thing that never seems to be mentioned about Billy was his crash tackle. When he came in from the wing at pace to tackle the centre or 2nd row they m...

Re: No live crowds this year.

Why won't SL be played behind closed doors?
If SKY want it to happen then it will happen.

Is this from asap or 2021?
I'd be surprised if Currie came to us.

My father said Johnny Ring was the best wingman until Billy Boston signed.
