Re: Wane to go
<t>Waney won't go, he'll be here next season.<br/> However, if we go out of the C Cup next year as we have these past two seasons then he will become very vulnerable.<br/> <br/> We have to pick up more wins away from home, as we may well not go through next season unbeaten at home. <br/> Hope we do ...

Re: Saints in the WCC, playing Roosters.
<t>Looks a very good fixture list.<br/> <br/> Next year I think SL clubs are supposed to travel down under. It will be interesting to see if any of those SL clubs who qualify declince to go there, like Huddersfield!<br/> <br/> I do think our going there to play the Roosters started the expansion to ...

Re: Gelling sacked/suspended
<t>Don't know about Bateman next year, might depend on what happens with Sarginson. If he gets the 4 shirt then Bateman might well get the 14 again. <br/> <br/> The thread was about Gelling and I was concerned about the title of this until he was warming up last Friday.<br/> <br/> I do think Waney h...

Re: Gelling sacked/suspended
I'd be very surprised if he didn't get the 3 shirt again next year.
If it was up to me he'd have it!

Re: Saints will learn World Club Series fate later this week
Hudds were asked last year and refused, as did Cas.
Saints will get it, after all they were 2nd after the weekly rounds.

Re: Josh
Sarginson was doing a lot of the early set carries for most of the season. Him and Josh have taken a lot of the work load off the props to enable them go in with three man tackles and slow down the ptb.
All Waney's tactics, like all things they have their advantages and disadvantages.

Re: Gelling sacked/suspended
<t>We all saw him on the pitch warming up, along with Hampshire, so he was in the 19.<br/> In that respect he hasn't been sacked or suspended.<br/> What's gone on I've no idea but if their has been a problem then the most that must have happened is that he's been disciplined (A telling off and a fin...

Re: Pack
<t>That is the best performance by the pack this year. They were very good at Wire in the 0-28 win but Huddersfield forwards are better than Warrington's.<br/> Their fitness is exceptional. In the 78-79th minutes they were still getting 3 men into each tackle.<br/> I don't think any other team can m...

Re: Oil Gildart
At present he's played himself into such good form he can't be dropped. Remarkable for a 19 year old playing in such a difficult position where reading of opposition plays is everything.
A real talent and developing faster than any of us could anticipate.
