I thought Mike Cooper wouldn't be short of offers when it was announced he wasn't going to be offered a new deal by Wigan.
He's a quality player, always has been and probably always will be.

Re: Wigan squad for Warrington (A)
I wondered if MP had stood down Luke Thompson due to him missing the WCC and he didn't want him to be absent for the C Cup Final should he get a knock.
Be sods law if that happened but MP just making sure there's no mishaps.

Re: Rohan Smith's Leeds Rhinos future unclear as player pressure ramps up
Leeds as one of the biggest clubs in SL if not the largest appoint a first team coach who has not had any previous first team coaching experience.
So who's the crackpot who appointed him?
He's the problems at Leeds.
Until he leaves the club Leeds' fortunes will not change let alone improve!

Re: Jai Field
Don't get all this about Jai. We don't know if he's at full pace as we've not have any fast paced grounds yet. Opposition teams have done their homework on Jai and his place in and around Wigan's plays. Whilst he isn't making breaks as he used to the gaps others are going through whilst players are ...

Re: Worst refereeing cop-out of the season?
If we play away from home we generally lose the penalty count. When we play at home we usually win the penalty count. The trade paper "League Express" publishes the penalty counts with the match reports. Go through the six SL game for the weekend and usually the home teams win the pen coun...

Thought the Brierley incident was poor by the ref. This sort of antic has been anticipated by the Officials Dept hence the green card.
His pulling Jai back then going "No Try" for the knock on was inexplicable. Why not play on then go to the VR?

Thought Sneyd tried to crash tackle Junior and ended up sitting on the grass instead. Shown himself up a bit this past two Salford v Wigan games.

Re: Wigan Warriors rising forward Harvey Makin returns from London Broncos loan spell
Play the full team until and including the C Cup Final. The impressive performance in the semi came following a very good game v Huddersfield, especially the second half. Surely the best thing is to keep that momentum going through to the C Cup Final. We've seen previously what happens when players ...

They must have changed Josie.
Last time I went they were snarling at us Wigan fans and had faces like a robbers dog!

Cartwright may be staying in nAus for the rest of 2024 but it will enable him select the players he wants in the positions he wants to fill.
Wouldn't surprise me to see the Hull FC spine next year being from the NRL.
A very good signing IMO.
