I wish him well. How much say he'll have, though, remains to be seen.
Do Wigan fans really want to see Leeds go under? I can't imagine so. We want to triumph over good sides, not beat hapless ones.

Somewhere in-between, but more to the gun end of the spectrum, to be fair.medlocke wrote:Is this the bell end that the rest of the team want gone or is that another young gun?

Guy who sits next to me said at the end, great game of RL, and I kinda thought, no, it wasn't, but I do know what he meant. Going to home games is all the bigger benefit anyway for not having to listen to Sky's drivel.

I thought Paisley stood up very well too, and didn't look out of place at all.

It wasn't too pretty, but a very good win against a strong side. And deserved, too. We were the better side, led throughout, and a nice cool finish from Woods' very promising left boot.
And once again: John Bateman: whadda guy!

Exactly. And if someone is injured in the warm-up (which seems to be not uncommon), then he is an option.

But you could say that about *anyone* who was named as 19th man, couldn't you?DaveO wrote:
Probably not but then what is the point of naming him in the 19 if he is has no realistic chance of making the 17?
