Of course, if poverty is defined as a percentage of average earnings, it cannot be 'eliminated'. But that is disingenuous. As noted upthread, the rise in the use of food-banks tells you all you need to know.

I take your point, but I think bonus points were perhaps needed in Union, but not required in league. We don't generally suffer from a lack of tries.
