I'll continue to say, I don't think a Wigan ref for a Wigan home fixture, especially a local derby, is a good look, and I don't understand why they persist with it. Obviously, it puts further pressure on the officials.

Yes, it wasn't brutal or malicious, but it was a proper coat-hangering the like of which have been penalised in the past.
