Re: The Brick Community Stadium

... but as it's a charity it's better than a betting company or vape company. Always thought they'd clamp down on them eventually, in the same way as has happened with tobacco. I've noticed on TV that lately Saints' stadium is almost invariably referred to as "The TW" rather than "Th...

J25? Gets you to the Leeds Road?

Found the place I was thinking of, but it seems unclear as to whether it's still open.

Re: Peet previews Huddersfield

I'm contemplating getting the bike out if the weather's half-decent, but of course it's driveable. Haven't got a ticket yet, but that should hardly be necessary for Huddersfield.

Re: Peet previews Huddersfield

When I went to Huddersfield some years ago, I recall there was some kind of clubhouse a short walk from the ground (the other side of a big main road?), where we went for a drink before the game. It almost looked more like a cricket club? And you could park there in this cul-de-sac. Is this still go...

Elliot Whitehead

Always seemed to me he's never got a lot of love on Wigan forums, maybe down to a feeling he won many England caps that could have been Liam Farrell's? I dunno. Anyway, for me, he's one of the few Englishmen who've got to the NRL and not just done OK, but stamped themselves on the comp, like James G...

Re: Wigan squad for Catalans (R10)

Sky MOTM went to Wardle, fair enough but the 80 minute effort from Nsemba topped up by that juggling finger tip interception 10 yards from our line made him my MOTM. I think he went well, especially in the second half, but he did make a couple of errors and he struggled a bit in both attack and def...
