Re: Why we will be worse off through Brexit (Question from other forum)

For wealth try gdpdividedby pop. Dave this is how wealth per capita is calculated , trust me(I'm no Economist! thank God!)Frankly, whoever she is) I find your comments re currency fluctuations confusing. You seem to mix me up with WB. Perhaps not. I'm ussually wrong. Either way the measure of wealth...

Re: Hock announces retirement

I think it's helpful to segregate our assessment of Gareth.

1. On the pitch
2. Off the pitch

Off the pitch I know little, if anything about his personal life, so can't comment.

On the pitch he was extremely talented, but, imo failed to make the most of this talent, which was a real shame.

Re: Why we will be worse off through Brexit (Question from other forum)

Well we are already worse off. The value of the pound has fallen from around 1.3 Euros prior to Brexit to around 1.1 Euros today. This is exclusively down to Brexit. Or if you like, the same meal in France that cost £10 on the eve of the Brexit vote will now cost you £11.82 today. That's an increas...

Re: Hock announces retirement

Good player.

If he had a little bit more between the ears he could have been a truly great player.

Unbelievable speed, skill and intensity.

Should have a top three
Finish top of the league and you get the hubcap and go straight through to the GF
Second and third then play for the other place

Re: Lam extends

5-6 weeks ago I would have said no. But week on week there is improvement. Seems we are heading in the right direction and hopefully will be getting even better. I am pleased to say I put myself in this camp too. He hadn't a clue when he first started, but maybe he's a quick learner? Let's hope so,...

Re: Powell

Powell always seemed to be solid defensively but robotic and predictable in attack. It's bound to frustrate fans when they see Roby and Clark doing so much damage. I don't think it's a surprise that this upturn in form came after Lam suggested some of the established players needed to produce more....
