Re: Why we will be worse off through Brexit (Question from other forum)

It's interesting isn't it? What's in a name? Brexiteer conjures up images of a sword waving patriot fighting the evil enemy. Brexiter - a stubborn, ill informed, one tracked minded individual who sticks to his beliefs whatever the evidence given to him. All fun and games (until someone loses an eye)

Re: Wigan Warriors talking to Sean O'Loughlin about new contract

If he doesn't take up much space on the cap yes.

In all honesty. No.

Re: Bevan French

Wow, just wow. Reminded me a bit of John Ferguson. "Look at that shimmy, that's what does him" "and that's the best fullback in the world he's just run past" Not so much JF but perhaps Jason Robinson for me. I think it was winger WG...... he was referring to dane ohara who was good but nowhere near...

Re: Why Wigan Warriors lost £1.4m last year

If Wigan RLFC, the biggest name in rugby league, lose money in this salary capped (and very low salary cap at that) era, then there are 2 possible reasons:

1. Complete mismanagement.
2. RL in this country is no longer viable.

Re: Why we will be worse off through Brexit (Question from other forum)

The economic argument for leaving the EU has gone now (at least for the next 10 years anyway) Even the most ardent of Leave supporters would have to agree. We have to face reality that the prime reason people voted leave is not economic, it is emotional. It's very sad, points to a lack of knowledge ...

Re: Why we will be worse off through Brexit (Question from other forum)

I hope Corbyn loses an election then he can get gone! Soo wish we had... wait I say “we” as a Labour supporter and former member... left due to Corbyn... I wish Labour/we had someone strong to put the government under pressure, under scrutiny, to make an impact. Labour is lost. It’s sad. On the str...

Re: Why we will be worse off through Brexit (Question from other forum)

If we have an election i just dont know how i would vote. Labour are in no state to form a government, corybn has one strength and that's been highlighting how little the Tories care about the people. Hes shown nothing to show he can lead. I can never vote Tories, conservatism at its core is backwa...

Re: Why we will be worse off through Brexit (Question from other forum)

I think that's right. Sad for me as I am a Tory without a party at the moment- I can't in all conscience vote for the current leadership. Maybe I'll join Ken Clark in the pub and we can talk about how on earth we got to this situation. Well he will know. If we had left the EU has directed by the Re...

Re: Why we will be worse off through Brexit (Question from other forum)

The issues around Brexit are many and have all been raised and debated on this thread. The real problem for our country is this. If the country did go to the polls soon (as it looks like it will), we have the choice of. 1. A far right Conservative party led by a figure that is jovial at best. 2. A C...
