Re: Wigan squad for Catalans (R10)
I am not sure that Byrne should keep his place in the team with the current virtually fully fit squad, still the potential for stupid penalties from him. I would think that once Walters is in the team and Cooper is fit, then Byrne should be left out. I also think Harvie Hill offers more than Byrne....

Re: Wigan squad for Hull KR (R9)
Thompson looks big and fit.
Doesn't mean he should be on the field for so long, but the option is there if it's needed.

Re: Wigan squad for Hull KR (R9)
I'm a shocked by this performance but That ref call though everyone stopped let's the Hull player pick it up then after another 10 second calls play on. As a saints fan why should they be given a refund ?????? It looks like the old arrogance of the early 1990's has returned, you dont have a god giv...

Re: Wigan squad for Hull KR (R9)
I really really hope Peet doesn't give it the standard "Congratulations to Hull KR they played well" rubbish. The performance of Wigan was shocking. No need to look further than themselves. We saw the same last year. It's a long season but here we go again. I only hope Peet knows what he i...

Re: Wigan Warriors’ goal-kicking stance confirmed by head coach Matt Peet
His kicking on Friday was outstanding. Touchline, "wrong" side.
I've criticised him in other area's but if he can carry on like that, he justifies his selection on that alone.

Re: Isa injury
I appreciate the "journeyman" type player (or whatever name you'd apply) as I think every good team not only has them, but needs them. I think this originates from bringing my lads up - one of them played 2nd row for Churwell juniors. He wasn't great on attack, and didn't get enough passe...
