Re: Barrow friendly

Some good reply’s there, thank you. Sounds like there’s plenty of places grab some food. Only going up there for the day so won’t be sampling the nightlife unfortunately! Im hoping the weather clears up and we get a sunny barrow heatwave! Haha

Barrow friendly

Got my tickets for the preseason friendly in barmy barrow. I’ve heard it’s like the Cumbrian version of York 🤪 does anyone know of any delightful public houses or decent places to have a spot of lunch? What’s the locals like? Last time I went away (CAS) it was like visiting Afghanistan only colder w...

Is that a serious question? I don’t agree with some people digging you out on here but you don’t help yourself sometimes.

Re: Batemans's departure confirmed

Bateman has been nowhere near his best but he’s not been terrible. I’m not worried about KPP not making the yards like Bateman but I think our defence will be a lot weaker down that side, don’t think Isa and KPP are as good in D as Bateman was. Add to that Isa doesn’t do much going forward, good wor...

Re: New Prop

I have no clue, heard nothing. The club said they wasn’t replacing Bateman so I’d be surprised if we sign anyone else before the start of season.

Re: Batemans's departure confirmed

Not been as good for us 2nd time round but still be a loss to the team. We should have signed a replacement, not signing anyone is rather poor if you ask me. It’s a short career so can’t blame the lad, don’t think he will be as good as he was for Canberra, the tigers are a poor team to go to also. E...

Re: What Castleford Tigers redeveloped Stadium will look like….

Lets be honest, cello taping a cheap 2 man tent to the side of it would improve it. Not many places I’ve been to were the grounds that crap and the opposing fans rather horrible. You couldn’t pay me to go again.

Re: New Wigan Captain

Great bloke and a cracking player. Good decision to make him captain. He will set a good example for the lads and do his talking on the pitch.

Re: “It’s great to be back at Wigan Warriors” – Star returns to former club for special event

It was a really good night, thoroughly enjoyed it. I saw you josie, hob nobbing with Pat and mr lenegen 😏😆 haha. Pat looks like he could lace up his boots again and kick another couple of hundred conversions for us. Top bloke and a really great player. Although players don’t have to live in Wigan, l...
