He did and he managed a lot of carries which is obviously good work rate but means his meters per carry wasn’t very good.MadMaxWarrior wrote: ↑Sun Jun 11, 2023 7:22 pm Ellis made more metres then Byrne,Singleton and Mago combined

Re: Amor Spot On
I think he's got the gist but I'd say the issue is power and effectiveness rather than just size. Patrick Mago is pretty much the same size as Agnatius Paasi, if not slightly bigger, but it's no contest in terms of who is more effective. Tyler Dupree and Brad Singleton are a similar size but there'...

Re: Forward stats
It makes for a shocking reading, I’m not Powells biggest fan but O’Neil 1 carry for 4m? Shorrocks 8 missed tackles and 3 carries for 8m! Pointless playing rugby with those pathetic stats. I could make more yards if my legs were made from balsa wood (I’d have that in common with byrne) Most of the fo...

Spineless performance. It’s been coming though. I’m disgusted. Id fold the club or merge with a good team like Leigh

Strong player but not big enough. Don’t care what anyone says size does matter in his position. Sadly I don’t think he will reach the levels we need him to for a regular spot in a Wigan 1st team. Hill/Nsemba already leagues ahead of him, I’d let him go when his contract is up.

Re: Sam Walters
I wasn’t that impressed with him to be honest. Gives me bad attitude vibes but I’ve often been wrong before. All for good young props being signed but I’d still like an older experienced pack leader signed and not prospects. We’ve got enough of those with Hill and another couple of lads from the re...

+1. if we are relying on singleton being the one to lead our pack our seasons over more like.

Shorrocks in the halves again, not that impressed with team selection be honest but peet should know what he’s doing so hope he proves me wrong. Bench lacking some size, I’d of had Hill at least on the bench. See how we go I suppose

Re: Wigan squad for Hull FC
Also forgot to say, Bryne is like one of those big old awkward reclining deck chairs you had as a kid, massive, might trap a finger but you can fold them up easy enough. Love the analogies: fridge freezers, hamsters and deck chairs    Haha I’m glad someone was entertained. I had a co...
