Re: Wigan squad for Catalans (R10)
I am not sure that Byrne should keep his place in the team with the current virtually fully fit squad, still the potential for stupid penalties from him. I would think that once Walters is in the team and Cooper is fit, then Byrne should be left out. I also think Harvie Hill offers more than Byrne....

Re: Wigan squad for Hull KR (R9)
There’s no positives to be taken from that performance. Absolute disgrace. We have no chance of beating them in the cup going off that weak effort. Beaten in every department, outplayed, out coached and out enthused. Embarrassing

Re: Tyler t Dupree
Class forward and I’ve really liked what I’ve seen from him off the field. Seems like a good lad who has his head screwed on. Looks like he’s really bought into the ethos at Wigan as well so you can’t go wrong with that.

Re: Squad v Castleford
I think we’ve missed O’Neil at hooker, in defence and attack, leeming hasn’t been great. For me he’s certainly not an 80 min hooker, more like an impact one against a tired defence. What do I know though? Wins a win but not a good performance. Need to sort out our line speed because in the cup KR wi...

P.S so far Thompson has proved me wrong. He’s been a beast, engine on him like a fine rolls Royce.

Re: Squad for Leigh
Good win, facts are we don’t miss Bryne and hills a much better option, chan can’t make yards but makes plenty penalties, Nsemba is some talent for his age and Kieran is as predicted quite anonymous .Thought all the pack went well, why couldn’t they have done that against saints? That’s the question.

Re: Disciplinary
3-5 matches to me seems very harsh, the multiple sending offs are spoiling games for me. There is also no consistency with the refs decisions.

Re: Derby Day!
I’m not sure about that, why didn’t we go up some levels and beat them then? And it mattered yesterday it was Good Friday! The ref didn’t help but the attack was about as sharp as a butter knife

Re: Derby Day!
Losing the arm wrestle in that second half after the sending off what harm is there giving Nsemba a go? A type of player who can break tackles and change the game…madness not to be used. Considering I’m not his biggest fan I thought Thompson played well, Bryne on the other hand would not make the sq...

Re: Wigan Squad for Salford
A poor game from quite a few players but a wins a win. I thought marshy and Miski played well and made loads of meters. Also thought O’Neil played well and got stuck in. The forwards were quite poor in my opinion with Thompson maybe the best. Not sure why anyone rates Bryne, I think he’s our weakest...
