Re: Tour de France

Well we're off on the First Stage. The weather is great in Brussels Who will win. ? No idea. Over all? This Stage ? No idea but I'll guess Sagan [/quote Youngest son and me were already fans of Le Tour having first come across it when it came to a one day loop around Portsmouth in 1992 I think. The...

Saints 3rd try.... they just let him through.... wtf.....

Should both saints try and hardakers from charge downs be knock ons?
The answer is in the phrase 'charge down' the rules count it as a charge down if it is kick, it is a knock on if you hit a pass from hand onto the pitch.

Re: Skints v WIGAN

Having just watched the 2 minute highlights on WiganTV several things come to mind. The first try was 2 yards forward as even the Stains pair conceded when it was scored. Even our one try was not constructed. Hardaker should be playing for Man U the way he kicked the ball up the field, or at least W...

Re: Why we will be worse off through Brexit (Question from other forum)

Decisions, decisions, decisions. What to do this evening, watch Andrew Neil interviewing the leadership duo until 8pm or listen to the build up and match on Wish FM from 7-30pm? Oh no need, already voted for Boris. πŸ˜ˆπŸ˜‚πŸ˜ˆπŸ˜‚ WRONG CHOICE, Not the vote for Boris Morley but the decision to listen to the m...

Re: Why we will be worse off through Brexit (Question from other forum)

Laughable about the Leave winning the 2016 referendum. 17.4m voted to Leave. A majority of 1.27m was the majority to Leave. The 1.27m majority no longer exists and has been overtaken by Remain. The longer time goes on the greater the numbers for Remain. As for the campaign and vote. We were told th...

Re: Why we will be worse off through Brexit (Question from other forum)

Ian, your point about trimming staff and investing savings in social care makes perfect sense to me as an anyone-but-tory voter. (Don't get me started on Andrea Jenkyns!) The problem I have is that the tories cut NHS funding, not to pay for social care, but to fund tax cuts for the well off. And yo...

Re: Why we will be worse off through Brexit (Question from other forum)

:D :D :D Well you all know my feelings on Brexit but to keep the fires burning I should tell you that I ignored the Salford v Giants game last night so that I could attend the Conservative hustings in York. For my money Boris came over as bouncing with enthusiasm for getting out, Jeremy although cl...
