Re: 2023 captain
I would go with Farrell, but if Bateman decides to stick around, I could see him leading us out.

Re: Morgan Knowles among two St Helens players banned following the Grand Final
He had hold of the touch judges collar with a fist ready on the other hand. As soon as he realised who it was, he quickly let go and disappeared. You have to consider that O’Neill got the same length ban for accidental contact.

Re: Grand final (spoilers)
Saints deserve credit for winning another grand final, but I don’t believe they have been dominant. For a side to be called dominant I would expect them winning everything year on year ( a side like ours of the 90’s). It is one league leaders shield in 3 years? The difference with Saints is they pla...

It puts Roby’s decision to play on next year into perspective. Imaging them losing both Roby & Woolf at the same time.

We do miss Powell defensively in games like this. Throw in Tommy and our defensive line takes on a new dimension.

Re: Briers leaves for Brisbane end of this season
Hopefully the club will replace him with someone who is equally as talented as a coach and not use it as an opportunity to move Leulaui into that position. Nothing against TL, but he needs to learn his trade first as a senior coach.

Re: Wigan Squad v HKR
The only potential issue given how contact to the head is reviewed is when Harry finds his feet and gives Coote a bit of facial with his elbow. Watched at full speed nothing in it, but slow it down and he could be in trouble.

Re: That red
Red or Yellow, I don't think it changes the result. But are we getting to a point (similar to football), any player that goes down and requires the game to stop needs to be shown the green card and forced off the pitch for 2mins to continue any treatment? Not that you want genuinely injured players ...
