Re: 21-man squad v Leigh

Gildart is nailed on, he is the best centre in the Club by a country mile. Fully at home fit and firing yes. But shouldn't a team he picked off form? Maybe the team would show better form if your only class centre was in it (and presumably if deemed fit by the coaching staff). Our current centres a...

Re: Saints Struggling

Never really rated Toby King until last season, really good centre now, had my doubts in his earlier days. LMS is overrated! Finished IMO! Fages is quality, probably slightly underrated. I would have retained Gildart all day long! From what people have posted on here I'd happily keep French, Bullock...

Re: 21-man squad v Leigh

I assume we will start with Manfredi, and so the back 5 would be French - Manfredi - Hardaker - Isa - Bibby. Good to read that Marshall is close. Is Gildart going to play for us again? Will the season ticket ourleague code come into play? I have no doubt about Gildarts talent but if he walks into t...

Re: Anthony gelling

Jounalists are journalists! Simple as that! I suppose looking at it, you need to make your own interpretation behind the content and purpose (of highlighting he is ex Wigan). Let's face Gells was quite a character at the time. I think if maybe he was less of a character/prolific or an academy player...

Doubt Sezer is off to the Broncos as they've signed Adam Reynolds for 2022.

Re: Bullock

Bit dubious about the assigned squad numbers these days. Seem to remember Escare 1 not ending so well! As for Bullock, definitely worthy of a 17 match day place IMO. Does offer alot going forwards. Singleton, Partington, Shorrocks and Havard are all very consistent of late though IMO. Can only be po...

Re: Joel Westerman

Not a bad player overall, vastly experienced, but signing Westerman now doesn't say much for our future ambition IMO.

Re: Adrian Lam addressing Wigan Warriors' goal-kicking options

I don't understand why we keep referring back to Hankinson? In the few appearances he made for us, even if he nailed all his conversion attempts would that warrant him starting for us if he wasn't at London? You have to look at his all round game and the quality of Gildart and Zak. We need to be att...

Il throw 50 notes down for one! Agreed though, it's expensive for a 10 year old single malt.

Are Wire exempt from the Salery cap never seam to have any trouble signing players?
Very good question indeed! And for how many years?
