Re: Squad numbers
I think last year was his first year proper in the academy and he also played the odd reserve game. I'm sure he played scholarship and academy in 2022.

Not like Budgie to do something like that. never really hear anything negative about his off-field or on-field conduct.

Re: Squad numbers
Good to see that all the newbies bar Keighran who was signed as a direct replacement have to fight for a starting 13 squad number.

Re: Contact Above the Armpit
Changing the rules may also open up the attacking game and open up the sport to more players. Years ago, as an 11 stone winger, I could tackle 15 stone props round the legs. I don't think I could cope physically with today's tackle technique where first contact is essentially a body check then a wre...

They have to accept like we have that no owner can afford to be losing millions a year and that they have to make the club a viable business. I understand why their fans...

Re: WELCOME MR DANSON
Well with 5 gigs lined up that will certainly generate revenue. I saw Simon Moran is promoting the Richard Ashcroft gigs so I assume he is also promoting the other three. Wonder why Wigan rather than Warrington?

Re: WELCOME MR DANSON
Well given the WCC, the Richard Ashcroft gigs and the Tics drawing Man Utd in the FA Cup the finances should be improving.
Big thing that would benefit both teams would be to sell the naming rites for the stadium. Tics should have done this ages ago when they were in financial trouble.
