Re: Peet previews Cup Quarter-Final
I am not sure this is the right place to comment, but any insight into when we might see Havard and Walters again?

Re: Important Information: Season Tickets
I was assuming their target was to get them to us so we could give 2024 season tickets at Christmas 2024.

Re: Wigan Warriors reported to have biggest ‘salary spend’ of 2024 Super League season
I am not sure whether I count as having too much time on my hands, but may I say that my only regret is that having to earn a living prevents me from spending more of my time on Wigan rugby matters.

Re: Wigan Warriors reported to have biggest ‘salary spend’ of 2024 Super League season
I have been mulling this over. Do I have this right? If the cap is 2.1m but it can (only) be exceeded for 3 marquee players, then, to reach 3.1m we would be paying 1m to those 3 above the relevant cap. If, say, the 3 marquee players are Smith, Thompson and French, then if we split the excess we woul...

Re: How can we improve for next year?
One thing I would say is wait and see. We have a fantastic squad and team, and that is a testimony to Peet’s brilliance. Take Mago for example - Peet has transformed him as a player; he has worked on French and taken him from a brilliant wing this time last year to the best 6 in the competition. My ...

Re: Squad for Leigh
Re the debate about Liam Farrell I have thought that for the last 2 seasons that he seems to find or seek contact more than he has in previous seasons perhaps the it may be the way that the team is coached he certainly doesn’t find the gaps that he used to or may be that he has lost a little of his...

Re: Options v Leigh
Brilliant to hear that Havard is nearly fit. He is a terrific player. We should be able to make sure his hamstring issues don’t recur with the right training/treatment/physio. He’s a prop not a winger. Looking forward to seeing Walters start his career for us, and like what I have seen from Nsemba. ...

Re: Derby Day!
I was annoyed but not particularly concerned. We are a really good team, and have a great squad. I think Walters and a fully fit Nsemba will make a huge difference to our attack, as we will then be able to hit teams from anywhere. From what I have seen so far, with Catalans weaker, we are the best s...

Re: New Deal for Jake Wardle
Gone to the NRL in a year then? There doesn’t seem to have been any talk about him “wanting to test himself in the NRL one day” you see from many players so hopefully he’s going to be like Lockers and is happy to play for Wigan for the duration of his contract. Best centre we have had for years pro...
