Re: Phil Vievers gone.
<t>Didn't know the man personally but like Noble he brought nothing to the table and if you can't do the job you are paid to do, then it's time to move on. <br/> <br/> At times last season and the season before, Wigan have been frankly laughable. Continual stupid penalties, one of the worst set comp...

Re: Last nights game
<t>Agree, especially as Sam wasn't even in the squad. Can in a way understand Smiths thinking about this, prefering to go with a known stand off in Maguire, rather than Tompkins but I think he is mistaken. Maguire, good as he is, has been tried and failed at international level against both the Auss...

Re: Martin Offiah
<t>Don't post very often but love reading the posts, especially the massive fallouts that have been going on. Don't want to fall out with anyone on here but to say Offiah wouldn't make the top 5 is, to put it bluntly, cr@p with a capitol C.<br/> <br/> He was an out and out match winner. The best all...

Re: Who is right?
Phil Clarke has it bob on. The team at the moment has been forced on Noble, it isn't one he would have picked had circumstances been different.
I still think Nobby has had his time and should go at the end of the season, along with Vievers.

drunken players
<t>IL says if anyone sees any drunken players then, let him know and he'll do something about it.<br/> <br/> Hmm, the team have been playing pretty crap for most of the season and many people have let him know but eff all has been done about it.<br/> <br/> Gods trewth, give us a few drunken players ...

<t>Mr Lennegan in the Observer, said again about the 3 year plan. Aim, to achieve A Grade status and win something. <br/> <br/> For ecks sake, how ambitious is this?<br/> <br/> No mention about the way the team is at the moment, no mention about what plans are in place to improve things. <br/> <br/>...

Re: Noble's statement
<t>Everything Noble says is gibberish. Everything is cliche's, like to win a game we have to play well and stop them from playing well, he actually said this in interview.<br/> How inspiring is that? Why doesn't he add his man management skills and coaching staff, need to take a fair bit of the blam...

<t>The Wires, similar posistion to Wigan, coach can't hack it so he does the decent thing, resigns. New coach takes over and they start to play as if they mean it.<br/> <br/> Noble talks about pride and hurt, even has a go at a Wigan fan after Cardiff, saying that the players and he are hurting just...
