Why have you moved this to the rumour mill? The thread began with the rumour that Nobby had been linked to Newcastle not about his wanting to stay here. I have apologised to DaveO who mentioned it towards the end of this thread

Nobby has said he is in talks with Mr Lenegan as regards his contract. he is stated as saying

"When you build a bridge, you would like to see it painted".

Another of Nobby's gems, and by the sound of the interview, he wants to stay.
