Unfortunately those days are long, long gone. Gone are the days of "uncle Maurice" and his blank cheque book, the club almost going bankrupt because of the wage bill etc. I'd like nothing more than to have a team full of superstars but that can't happen under the current salary cap rules. ...

A high grade MCL injury does not normally mean months on the sidelines, it has got to be something worse than that or Matt has got his terminology wrong. Last year I snapped my PCL and had a high grade MCL injury and it's the MCL injury that's by far the most painful of the two. It's still sore now...
