Re: Consistency of officiating

Whether deliberate or not, they all increase risk of brain injury symptoms in later life. Its going to be tough to change techniques to reduce head impacts, but you've got to start somewhere. You're not going to just fix it overnight.

Re: Disciplinary

Yet the Video Referee advised Kendall it was a yellow card incident only on the day. People are saying this, but all I heard on sky was the commentators say the the video ref was talking about mitigating factors. They could easily have been saying "no mitigating factors". Which I imagine ...

Re: Derby Day!

It’s not just one game. Our forwards just out muscled London no decent attacking sets. Sheffield was a struggle. Salford we were poor and lucky to win. Came unstuck against Saints because our discipline was poor and our attacking options were non existent. Sorry to upset anyone but Bevan is not a c...

Re: Derby Day!

Since when has Good Friday not mattered? Ok it’s not a cup final, but it’s far more than just another league game. If we have extra gears to go up, we should have been using them on Friday. We need to celebrate when we play well but not be afraid to call out poor performances. Friday had too many p...

Re: Consistency of officiating

https://ibb.co/BCJKSxL Can anyone explain why Lees going into the tackle upright and with no attempt to wrap the arms is ok but Byrne doing it isn't? Couldn't get that to play for some reason, but was there head contact? If there was, the Wigan player would be advised to stay down for a few seconds...

Re: Derby Day!

To be honest I expected us to lose yesterday but I thought Saints would offer a little bit more than they did. We've not exactly been playing well since the WCC and that's probably to be expected. The WCC always throws a spanner in the works when it comes to pacing yourself through a season. I thou...

Re: Consistency of officiating

The game is definitely changing and not for the better. Games hinge on decisions to send players off , for what are accidental tackles that hit the head of the opposition player, who as Percival, go into the tackle lower than normal. This will always happen, even if they do bring in the tackle to b...

Re: Consistency of officiating

Justing watching the NRL and the difference in referrering is staggering. Dolphins just scored a try and the prop running in lead with elbow and knocked defender out the way to pass to score. Point is it was 100 times more than Duprees incident and not a thing said from the commentators or players ...
