Re: Wigan in talks to keep Green

<t>Wane sees Hampshire as a full back for now and a reserve for Bowen. Not a stand off at present.<br/> If Green where to leave our experience in mid field is diminished. I can understand Waney wanting to keep him and it's good news that he's well down the track with contract discussions. <br/> Hamp...

Re: Wane Selects Squad for Hull Test

<t>There's only 18 Wigan players named in that squad list, Dom Crosby being ommitted, he is in the squad.<br/> That means SW has named six props in the 19. <br/> I do hope he doesn't go with Clubb at 13 again as I think he is very powerful playing prop. We need to win the front row battle if we are ...

Re: RFL fine and warn Hull chairmen Pearson and Hudgell

<t>Do the RFL not realise the utter contempt Rugby League people in this country have for them?<br/> If Pearson and Hudgell made the greatest effort to bring the game into disrepute they couldn't do half as good a job that the RFL do themselves! <br/> <br/> No wonder SL club's chairmen want a detach...

Re: Harris looks to Wigan for Salford overhaul

<t>In the press conf for the Leeds game Waney said Flower had two years left on his contract and wasn't going anywhere.<br/> <br/> Blake Green is ooc end of this year as we know but with Powell, Williams and Hampshire to accomodate then his departure may well ease salary pressure to give these young...

Re: Sarge still a work in progress

<t>Clubb is better in the front row, where he played for London. Although he played loose last Friday the stats show him making 47 tackles, that really is putting a shift in. He doesn't look slow and cumbersome to me. He was the only one who could put Peacock down in a one on one tackle and that's n...

Re: St Helens on the prowl?

At lest week's presser for the Leeds game Waney said that Flower had two years left on his contract, that he was buzzing and not going anywhere.
Green is ooc end of this year as we know but whether he stays or departs may well depend on the offers he is made.

Re: Sarge still a work in progress

<t>After the loss at Leeds I think Waney will bring in changes for the Hull game.<br/> Wouldn't surprise me if he brought in Manfredi to play right wing with Gelling going left centre. <br/> He's got to play Powell soon so may go with him as interchage and Williams going to 7 giving Smithy a rest.<b...

Re: Nothing amazing

<t>Leeds are a lot, lot fitter than previous seasons.<br/> They used to fade in the last 10 mins of a half but not this year. They go the 80 and are up and down for the ptb very quickly.<br/> <br/> If we are to beat them then we will have to put out our best front row plus Lockers at loose. The best...

Re: Sarge still a work in progress

<t>Dan is not a centre yet and I simply don't know why he was played there.<br/> For those of us who were at Cas saw the nightmare that was Sarginson and Burgess defending (or not defending) on the left. Cas were 16-0 up in 16 mins with three tries down their right and our left side defence. <br/> H...

Re: Bowen contract

<t>When Bowen first signed I'm pretty sure it was a one year deal with a further year's option. In who's favour I don't know.<br/> We are all big fans of Hampshire yet the thought of him being given the 6 shirt (should Green leave) worries me.<br/> He isn't the biggest lad around and due to his pace...
