What do Man City and Wigan fans have in common?

Browsing to fill a boring hour, I came across this.... https://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2020/feb/29/manchester-city-fans-unhappy-constantly-winning For most of you, who remember the glorious mid-80s to mid-90s, it may ring true. Mind you, City haven't ended up selling their ground...not yet...

Re: Wells & Kilner loaned to Toronto

So, if I've understood it correctly, who pays who, and how much is paid, are irrelevant to salary cap calculations. In simple terms, Wells' and Kilner's wages count on Toronto's SC and not on Wigan's SC for the duration of the loan. A reasonable conclusion would be that TW must have had some space o...

Re: Where’s Wigan’s offload gone.

Re: Lam previews Hull FC

Overall, I was pleased with our performance. Apart from their tries, the one thing that concerned me was the number of offloads they got away when we had up to 3 in the tackle.

Re: Actual squad v Toronto

No one said “drop Powell” as far as I am aware and I didn’t think he’d been dropped but not cleared to play anyway. Personally I don’t think he’s good enough (along with Isa) but I realise he will be an automatic pick when fit and given Tommy is not the player he once was it’s actually making the b...

Union cut funding to Championship by 50%

I know it should be in Off Topic, but getting "Forum Locked", and it does bear comparison with RL's financial issues:
