Re: Wigan Warriors prop Ben Flower ruled out 'for up to eight weeks'
This all makes me wonder if we could have done a bit more after the loss of Gabe. I don't know what the legal position is (has he officially gone?) but surely we could have brought in a solid experienced replacement even if only for a limited time? If we're still awaiting a decision on Gabe that jus...

Re: What has to happen for Lam to succeed?
Whatever the deficiencies of the squad, injuries and the strange situation of being a 'stand in' for Shaun Edwards, you have to ask the question - have we progressed as a team this season? I'm sure that everyone will make up their own mind.

Re: Today’s Team
Always sad to see more injuries but the team seem to be having real problems with confidence now. That's the only thing that I think explains a performance as poor as today's. The pressure will continue to build if we don't win against Leeds, a game that looked an easy win a couple of weeks ago. Tha...

Re: F***IN USELESS
Just listened to the match on Hull local radio. Their commentators couldn't believe how bad we were. At least we won but what's going on?

Re: Jake bibby
Even the more positive posters amongst us (I'm not one) are clutching at straws y stating that 'the signings we've made so far won't be too bad if we sign Hastings and another prop'. Sadly, I think the Hastings signing is looking less and less likely (why hasn't he committed yet?) and there's no sig...

Re: Super League chief eyes Anfield return after encouraging Magic Weekend
Although it goes without saying that scousers really love their football, they show very little interest in league and I don't think we had many new fans. From an expansionists point of view, going to Anfield was a failure but perhaps Liverpool Council offered more cash than Newcastle? It's interest...

Re: So... will we beat Warrington?
A few more injuries won't help but they're missing Ratchford which will. It will be interesting to compare the performance/score with the Challenge Cup game to see if Barcelona was a one off or the start of a dip in form.

Re: Adrian Lam still Ian Lenagan’s first choice for Wigan Warriors job
Good point DaveO. I think we're at the point where 'top players' don't necessarily want to play for Wigan any more. This is something that has to change if we want to get back to winning trophies in the next few years. Let's be honest, as things stand, there are several clubs that a player (not from...

Re: Adrian Lam still Ian Lenagan’s first choice for Wigan Warriors job
The most worrying thing about this statement is that it implies that Lenagan isn't even looking at anybody else yet or perhaps they don't want to come to such a progressive club. Is Lammy therefore involved in deciding which players we're supposed to be interested in next season? I just hope I'm wro...

Re: Disappointing
Yes, much better all around. Great effort by all of the lads, just a shame about a few individual errors. Best performance of the season? Now let's see if we can maintain this for the next few weeks before we decide that Lammy is the messiah.
