I was a Workington Town and Whitehaven supporter way back in the '50's and I remember Mick Sullivan forearm smashing Towns Harry Archer in the 1958 Cup Final after 10 minutes. Harry came back on, but realistically played no further part in the match. Afterwards he said he couldn't remember the match...

The RFL have contributed to this themselves. They insisted on having the C Cup final on August Bank Holiday weekend when the West Coast Mail Rail Line was shut for maintenance.
