Re: Wigan squad for Warrington
Think I'd go with:-
Field
Miski
King
Wardle
Marshall
French
Smith
Singo
O’Neill
Byrne
KPP
Farrell
Smithies
Nsemba
Hill
Ellis
Mago
Aiming for as much pack size as possible but Shorrocks should probably be there instead of either Hill or Nsemba

Re: Sticky plaster Over A Gaping Wound
I agree with a lot said above. We desperately need a stand off, that much is obvious and with young Astley still developing he could be good cover there. But more than happy with Smith at 7. Im happy with Leeming and ONeill as hooker next season with Forber as cover and happy with Smithies as loose ...

Re: Positions
I’ve been watching 40 odd years and the props are taller, slimmer & slightly more mobile than when I started watching. SO not a centre for me - apart from any kicking duties they may have it’s the direction of play, tempo and taking on the line that then brings in the centre wing full backs. Bev...

Re: Wigan squad for Huddersfield
Yes agree with Shorrocks & Miski. Weather was atrocious last night so to be only 4-0 up for ages was really down to the conditions and both teams started passing more after the drizzle ceased for a short while at half time. Big shout to Byrne & Havard both put some shifts in as did our centr...

Re: Blake Austin
There’s no doubt he’s a cracking player but will he have the same effect on Harry as Hastings did?
We need another half to compliment Smith and at 32 I fear he may just be too old and may stifle Harry’s development.

Re: Wigan boss Matt Peet makes bold 2024 transfer vow amid Adam Keighran speculation
It’s certainly exciting times ahead. I’m trying to guess who else or what positions we are still looking to recruit for. If we are loosing KPP & Singo, and if Cooper wasn’t retained along with Mago, Thornley & Cust and if Powell went into a coaching role (bear with me) that could potentially...
