I’ve always thought that Jack was a good player. I wish him every success at Salford. I am not convinced that Wigan has made a good decision here but only time will tell.

Top lad Hampo, I think the way the club treated him left a sour taste in many mouths. Mind you, the club’s ruthlessness at that time kept us top of the pile, we could do with a little of that now
