Losing Hastings, Gilly, Bullock and French but not getting George? Bloody hell, what's happening?

Just read the report and it's hard to understand that he's not guilty of anything. He's admitted hitting her and her face was a mess. I must be missing something but he clearly has control issues.

NIce to see Lammy give some praise to Clark too. I hope he rewards him with another game against Salford. If Clark earns a spot in the 17 that will be a bonus as the prospect of a new signing at prop seems to be fading.

Although it seems most likely that they want Trueman or Williams, if they let Widdop go back to Aus they may want both. That would be a real sickener but I'm sure they can fit them under their 'magic cap'

Thanks 'Dan'. It's always deprsssing when we miss out on a player but that's why people believe in the salary cap. I hope we keep looking for a prop this season. I assume you're referring to saving money for the George bid but surely that money would be on next year's cap?

I agree with the last two posters, so long as Harry is playing well enough we have to give him lots of game time this season. It's a difficult balance but perhaps Harry should be given priority over Tommy if we need Harry to be the starting halfback next season.
