Re: Bateman
Strange how fans are happy to let him go as he’s on marquee money yet admit he’s still a very good player, (so the squad loses a very good player, excellent IMO) yet same fans are happy to keep Isa as he’s a solid 7 on shit money (squad keeps, and plays and average at best player)?? When the season...

Re: Squad numbers
I didn’t notice it myself but somebody mentioned it on one of the forums in terms of what that meant regarding recruitment/retention.

Re: Squad numbers
When the home shirt was released, the club put in the article that squad numbers would not be released until the first team squad was ‘finalised’. The Bateman and Mago exit rumours, along with that line seems to suggest we could see outs and potentials ins before they’ll release any squad numbers.

Re: Singo
Saw pictures of him training with Charnley and Asiata yesterday but then I think Sam Powell was there as well and he won’t be going anywhere.

Re: “Surprise Signing”
Couldn’t think of many I’d want to sign less than Napa. The guy is an absolute liability and looks like he should probably retire.

Re: Jake Wardle
King isn’t a player I’d ever give more than a couple of years at a time to. He has had one superb season in his career and it was the season where he was up for grabs, either for Wire or for another club. We had so many lads who did that here in the past and once their income is secured for a few se...

Re: Bateman
He’s had a good season IMO but if he’s had a season worth the type of money he’s on I’m not too sure. The issue we have in replacing him is two natural replacements in Nicholson and McDonnell have walked through the door and KPP is likely to follow within the next year. If the club had any sort of i...

Re: 2022 Recruits - Review
Miski-6/10-he’s been pretty good when he’s played but the decision to use a quota spot on a back up winger still baffles me. Thornley-5/10-again pretty good when he’s played but he’s been injured more then he’s played and long term it feels like we can’t rely on him. Cust-7/10-A solid first season b...

Re: Wigan to play Leeds in Semis
Keep our heads and we’ll be fine. If Bentley isn’t banned for his elbow drop the other night it’s a shambles but I won’t be surprised. Leeds game plan looks to be one of getting in a scrap and trying to get the opposition to forget about playing rugby, so we can’t afford to do that. We do still need...

Re: Official Awards Lunch
May I say that I have not more enjoyed watching a player than Jai Field since the young Sam T. He is smooth as silk, and makes the impossible possible. He is the reason we watch sport - to be in awe of people’s athletic miracles! It’s also worth highlighting that he came into this season under huge...
