Yes, not much to argue with there. I'd say that Bullock and Hamlin are decent, rather than terrific signings. but I suppose we look for chinks of light where we can!

Certainly the only evidence I can see for any difference in tactics from Lam compared to last season is that Williams strays onto the right hand side of the field a bit more often. But, as others have noted, not to any great effect.

Fortunately (?) Huddersfield are a very ordinary side. A good side would have done.

Me too. But who have the Raiders got? After getting rid of Austin, they've got who; Hingano and Cornish? Neither are amazing, but I'm not convinced GW is any better.

If we had players running lines off the ball-carrier and a pass had gone to ground, or even been intercepted, at least we could have said, we are trying things in attack. But there was none of that, and defensive organisation looks as bad as ever.

I think most fans would have been quite prepared to wait until half-way through the season to see the 'improved attacking play' we were promised, as long as we built on a foundation of decent organisation and solid defence. But all that has melted away, and the attack is worse than under Waney, when...
