Re: French and hastings

It’s a bit worrying they are due home wc 22/02, will have some form of quarantine and the season starts 4-5 weeks later.

Not much of a pre season for two key players is it.

Maybe the club think it’s better for the long run they were home for longer.

Re: Burgess leaves on medical grounds

For me we need more teams in the league but I understand the sponsorship is shared around via the salary cap so there’s little chance of 14 or 16 teams in the league - just believe it’s chicken n egg stuff as more teams would undoubtedly increase sponsorship deals... I’m hopeful when we get out of ...

Re: New Prop

With Bullock and Singleton up front the pack is more mobile. It had got a bit one paced.Bateman at loose and Farrelland Partington plus a choice from the bench or rotation there is no panic. Why would you play Bateman at 13? Of the 170 senior games he has played at Wigan and Canberra, the majority h...

Re: New Prop

Singleton came in and was outstanding. Really made a difference with his go forward and energy. Him and Bullock made a great pairing when starting. When you look through the list of props on our books we do seem a little short of experience. Singleton Bullock Clubb Partington Byrne Havard Clarke Ki...

Re: Burgess leaves on medical grounds

the reason we gave up our season tickets Would you have taken the same view if Wigan had won it from fifth? but I agree more should be made of the LLS. It shows the best side over the course of a season. As I've argued before, one simple way would just be to make the prize more financially attracti...

Re: Shaun Edwards

Just watched the first half of Ireland v France the most boring 40 minutes of my life France dont need a defence coach as Ireland cannot attack pass or keep hold of the ball & the ref cannot see a knock on . Going to watch some grass grow more exciting .  It’s so boring isn’t it....

He’d fail no matter what team he had. Too much time out of the game.

Re: New Prop

I see Gabe Hamlin is up and running again. He'd be cheap and loads of effort in the lad, he'd be a good fit in the 'no scrums' game we're stuck with. The club had success with Hock after a drugs ban, Zac is a changed person, now a credit to the club and the game so why not give Hamlin another chanc...
