Re: Matty Smith
Matty Smith guided the team well and had a good kicking game. He knew his limitations and played to his strengths. The advantage he had was he was playing behind a very good pack. He would have struggled playing behind the Wigan pack of last season. I would have loved to have seen Jackson Hastings w...

Re: Wigan unveil new Coaching Team
I am not concerned about the coaching appointments I am more worried about the players they have got to work with. I expect the coaching team to get an extra 20% out of the current squad but I don’t think that will be enough to achieve silverware. I am quite pleased that SW is involved again, some ...

Re: Vote for your Player of the Year
Probably Liam Farrell, he has been very consistent at centre or second row.
Joe Shorrocks must be a contender, a silver lining in a very dark cloud this season!!!

Re: Wigan squad for Leeds
I think Shaun Edwards would have been a good fit for Wigan. As a player he was meticulous in his preparation, trained hard, right diet, sufficient rest, studied the opposition. He strived to be the best player he could be. According to the books you can read on Wigan in the time he was playing he wo...

Also George Burgess left, he must have been on a good slice of the salary cap.

Re: Havard
I agree it is not Bullocks fault that he only gets ten minutes, the fault lies with Lam. I think he should be playing far more minutes. Warrington wouldn't sign him just for such short spells. With our pack having so many young forwards it is beyond me that he hardly plays. His physical size is what...

Re: Havard
Surely they must be an improvement on an aging Clubb and a ten minute Bullock.

Re: Havard
Ethan Havard has been involved in eighteen super league games and two challenge cup games this season. He needs to be rested occasionally and not relied upon so heavily at such a tender age. Hopefully when the two Aussie Props arrive next season and I pray the injury list is not as horrendous we wil...
